Meet the Designer
Yulonda is the lead floral designer and proud owner of YH Wedding and Event Design, a floral studio specializing in classic, elegant and timeless floral designs for weddings and special events.
Yulonda began her career in the event industry as a self taught wedding cake designer and sugar flower artist in 2005. That is when her love for flowers began.
She used her creativity to make beautiful edible art, which brought her so much joy. In 2013, she tried her hand at making bouquets and was hooked!

Yulonda is a South Carolina native and the 2nd oldest of 12 children (yes,12). Yulonda is a boy mom to two awesome adult sons.
After making wedding cakes and working as a dental hygienist for 13 years, Yulonda took a leap of faith in 2018 and flew to Chicago to take her first luxury floral design class.
This is the year YH Wedding and Event Design was born.
